Ameer e Millat Hazrat Peer Jamaat Ali Shah was the strongest and the staunchest supporter of Quaid e Azam, without whom the creation of Pakistan would have become an impossible task. Peer saab, waged a Jihad to convince Muslims to join Muslim League, defended Quaid e Azam against fataawa of Kufr by Congressi Mullahs, fought against ANP in NWFP who were trying to block Pakistan's message in frontier province and stood like a wall behind Quaid and collected all Mashaikh, scholars and Muslims behind the flag of Quaid. He gave the fatwa that anyone opposing Pakistan will not be a Muslim and he will not be buried in the Muslim graveyard! His courage, vision, barakat and total unconditional support to Quaid and Pakistan make him the spiritual mentor of Pakistan. Allama Iqbal considered it an honor to sit at his feet but this darvesh called himself a soldier of Quaid e Azam. Today, in Lahore, Zaid Hamid was invited to speak in a conference to remember this saint. His family and grandsons were present along with hundreds of Mashaikh and Muslims. Mashallah!
